This site is a tribute to Janet Ambrose who died peacefully at Sutton Manor on 23rd November 2021.

Janet was born on 23rd July 1926 in Dorchester but spent the early years of her life in Devizes. In 1947 she married Henry 'Poppa' Ambrose DFC and was for the next twenty years or so moving around the country with the RAF. She was a devoted wife and mother of Tim, James, Mark and Miles, mother-in-law and grandmother.

She is much loved and will always be remembered.
